Yup it's me...

Sorry I haven't written in a while, you know how it goes, you eat, take a nap, and before you know it your whole day is gone! My mom, who loves me very much bought me something cool on Etsy. I love to burrow under blankets or whatever there is when I take my naps, so she bought me this cool little sack to sleep in. It took me a while to figure it out, but I love it now, the thing is keeping my little brother, Spike out of it!

with my paws crossed waiting for someone to say something really enlightening, the problem is that I already know WAY more than everyone else!

She thinks...

she's going out to the Studio to work. My mom thinks she has her day planned, but I am holding her down so she wont be able to get up. Mighty Murray strikes again!

I would help...

My mom was feeling very overwhelmed today with all that she has to do plus all the promotion she has to do for her website etc. I told her I would be happy to do that stuff for her, I'm home all day anyhow, usually just curled up where ever there's a flat surface. I could keep up with the blog posts and all that. I told her if I got stuck on the words, I could ask dad, but I think I spell better than he does so we'll have to find a better plan!

Little brother

I am just sitting in my mom's lap, as always, and little brother feels like he has to horn in on MY action! I tolerate it, for now, although it's all either of us can do to not slip off mom's lap, it's only so big!

Mom's home

My mom didn't go to the Farmer's Market today to sell her handmade soap, it was a real treat for me, I spent as much time as possible curled up in mom's lap. This is livin'!

Inspired by ME!

As you know, my mom is a soapmaker, that's actually how she keeps me and little brother in cat food :-) So She made a soap, inspired by me,the stripey one! She called it "Murray" and it says on the label that it's the cat's pajamas, really bad pun! Here's a picture of what it looks like, she was going for a stripey-ish look. It's a jasmine/tiarre flower blend.

Yes that's me, I'm on my back doing "toe-touches". They tell me I"m getting fatter, I need to do more red-dot chasinging I think. My mom was very surprised to see me laying on my back in her lap, what can I say, the mood just came over me!

he's always up to something

My little brother, the humans think he's adorable, I do too most of the time. It's when I'm sitting in someone's lap and he comes over for no good reason and bites me in the ear, I tell him to knock it off and the human gets mad and we BOTH get kicked out of the lap! Well, he is pretty cute, I guess I can forgive him. He's quite at home in the bathroom sink as you can see!

My mom's friend brought her some fresh Brentwood Sweet Corn yesterday from the Concord Farmers Market. She was taking that green stuff off the outside and my little brother (as always) was acting in a most undistinguished manner, he was chasing those green things all over the house! Man did he make a mess. Oh to be a kitten!
